NEWS 4 –  If you purchase/drink Dasani water you might want to listen up. There has been a major recall by the Coca-Cola company today after several thousand bottles of their drinking water was found to be contaminated with a parasite. It has sent several hundred people to the hospital and is responsible for parasitic symptoms such as fever, rash, vomiting and stomach bloating.

This comes on the heels of a recent report in which Coca-Cola admitted that Dasani is really just “purified”tap water. The corporation admitted in January that their water brand was just purified tap water dressed in a fancy looking bottle. Like many other bottled waters, Dasani is sold at a premium price, and many people perceive it to be superior to tap water – even though it actually is just tap water.

All bottled water is made by filtering ta water by the reverse osmosis filtering process. While this process removes some unwanted materials, dangerous chemicals such as pesticides, herbicides, and chlorine are molecularly smaller than water and get through the filter and ultimately into your body. This filtering process also removes naturally occurring minerals that enhance the taste of water, keep the water naturally healthy, and work with the body’s own system. Reverse Osmosis wastes two to three gallons of water in order to produce just one gallon of filtered water,

Even though the majority of the impurities have admittedly been removed from Dasani water, and minerals added back in, these parasites have somehow worked their way into their supposedly “clean” water system which has been passed on to the consumer. Like many of you in Livonia I often travel to Detroit, Farmington Hills, West Bloomfield, Novi and around Michigan for business. After fighting traffic on busy Michigan freeways, I want to arrive at my appointments feeling refreshed and alert. I find the easiest way to achieve this is by drinking delicious and healthy alkalized Kangen water®

If you have read any of my Enagic® alkaline water posts, you have probably come across the words electrolysis. Before I started my own Enagic® pH water business in Michigan, I only had a vague idea of what this word meant.

Today’s post contains a brief explanation for those living in Detroit and the surrounding area including Livonia, Farmington Hills, West Bloomfield and Novi. This post will be of interest to anyone who wants to know more about pH water produced by electrolysis.

Electrolysis is the process of using a direct electric current (DC) to trigger a chemical reaction in an ionic substance. By applying the current, chemical components can be separated and isolated.

Electrolysis has been used by scientists to discover and analyze elements and is valuable in many industries and manufacturing processes. For example, anodization using electrolysis treats metal products to become corrosion-resistant.

Enagic® water ionization and filtration machines use the process of electrolysis to change the pH balance of water. During this process the H2O molecule is split into H+ and OH-. The OH- acts as a free radical scavenger by donating electrons. This is how Kangen water® has become known as antioxidant rich water.

The human body is primarily composed of water. In fact the body is 70-75% water. That means if the main beverages consumed do not include water, the body can become dehydrated.

Dehydration at a cellular level will allow other beverages to adversely affect the body faster. This means that those people who celebrate the New Year with alcohol can become drunk faster, and suffer the hang over effects the next day.
